Openings for Lebanese Taverna, Hot Spot and More

1) Woodley Park: Lebanese Taverna completes the extensive renovation of its DC location this weekend. The new look sports an expanded lounge with a 13-seat bar, a private dining room, wood accents, and an updated menu. Status: Opening Sunday. 2641 Connecticut Ave. NW; website.

2) Merrifield : Sweetgreen sends word that yes, their Mosaic District location is now open today. The 1,500 square foot salad spot has a patio for outdoor dining. It's the first dining destination to open in Mosaic, beyond the concessions at the Angelika movie theater and the MOM's Organic Market lunch counter. 3) Metro Center: Point Chaud has opened its third crepes place, right near Capitol City Brewing Company, Prine of Petworth reports. Status: Open. 11th and H Sts. NW; website.

4) Fairfax: Don Rockwell readers spy Hot Spot, a new Asian restaurant, in the former Temel space. The restaurant blends Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine. Status: Open. 3232 Old Pickett Road; website.
