DEL RAY— Celebrate that essential annual holiday — Thanksgiving Eve — with the Evening Star Cafe crew. 14TH STREET— Clevelanders may have been forced to let go of LeBron, but they'll never let go of their Christmas Ale. Cafe Saint-Ex is hosting a Great Lakes Brewing Company Christmas Ale tapping party tonight at 6 p.m. There will be snacks and specials. [Twitter]

ARLINGTON— Lyon Hall has started taking reservations for its monthly "VS" beer dinner, which will pair Beer Director David McGregor against Glenn Bulloss from Smuttynose Brewery. The meal on Dec. 4 will feature five courses with 10 beer pairings. [Facebook]

FOOD TRUCKS— Uh oh. Tim Carman reports that more than 1,000 comments in support of food trucks never reached DC legislators before the public comment period on pending regulations expired. The source of the problems is currently unclear. [WaPo]
