Mike Curtin's career path has taken some twists and turns, from studying religion in college to running his own restaurant in Falls Church. He talks to Gourmet about how he ended up at his current gig: running DC Central Kitchen. "Not then or in my four years at Williams College or during my time in Japan or even in the restaurant business did I think that my dream job would be in the basement of one of the largest homeless shelters in the country, working out of an office that was literally a converted mop closet.
