1) Silver Spring: Prince of Petworth spies signage for a location of Taqueria Distrito Federal coming to Wayne Avenue. The signage for the Pete's New Haven-Style APizza location headed to the same block has been displayed as well. [PLYWOOD]
2) Alexandria: Notting Hill, the restaurant slated to replace Le Gaulois, is moving along in Old Town; they're looking to hire folks with fine dining experience to staff the upcoming restaurant. [PLYWOOD]
3) Downtown: From Mike Neibauer: a permit application for Taylor Gourmet at 1750 Pennsylvania Ave. NW. [PRE-PLYWOOD]
4) Dupont Circle: It's been more than a year since Russian restaurant Mari Vanna signed a lease for Connecticut Ave. Construction must be finally progressing, as the restaurant has a craigslist ad up, looking to hire employees. There's also a Facebook page. [PLYWOOD]
5) Shaw: The Sundevich team Tweeted the new signage for A&D Neighborhood Bar, coming soon to the space next door. [PLYWOOD]
6) Barrack's Row: Prince of Petworth confirms the rumor that Kraze Burgers will open its first location in DC proper at 415 8th St. SE. [PLYWOOD]
7) Dupont Circle: Borderstan shares word of the recently opened Moroccan restaurant La Kazbah at 2147 P. St. NW, but says that the name of the restaurant will change this week. [POST PLYWOOD]
8) Georgetown: The plans for Fabio Trabocchi's Fiola Mare in Georgetown will go up before its Advisory Neighborhood Commission next week, according to Patch. [STATUS]
9) 14th Street: Building permits have been filed for the BakeHouse and Taqueria Nacionale slated for the Old Post Office building on T Street NW, WBJ reports. [PLYWOOD]
10) Downtown: The location of Pret A Manger coming to 1701 K St. NW should open sometime in the second quarter of next year, according to real estate broker Lance Marine of CBRE (he brokered the lease). [PRE-PLYWOOD]
