Tonight marks the premiere of Season 10 of Top Chef on Bravo. For its tenth go-around, the show is headed to Seattle, where the new contestants will face off in front of Padma, Colicchio and the rest of the crew, as well as a new judge, Wolfgang Puck.
There are 21 cheftestants this season, and DC will have its eye on the local contestants. As a refresher, that's Bart Vandaele of Belga Cafe and the upcoming B Too, Dan O'Brien of Seasonal Pantry, and former DC chef Jeffrey Jew.
Meanwhile, there's dra-ma over on Life After Top Chef, if the Bravo synopsis is to be believed. Apparently chef Spike Mendelsohn's parents are about to try to "derail his every decision" when it comes to planning for his bistro, Bearnaise. That episode airs at 9 p.m. Eastern time, while the new season of Top Chef debuts at 10 p.m. EST.
