Even chefs, bartenders and restaurants get swept up in Election Night fever. Whether it was respectful congratulations for President Barack Obama, unbridled enthusiasm for the election results or political joking, Twitter was more focused on politics than pizza or poutine over the last 24 hours. Folks were already gathered at various bars around town as the results came in, and once the winner was announced, Obama fans flocked to locations such as Ben's Chili Bowl on U Street to celebrate. Here's a snapshot of the night in Tweets from the restaurant universe.
