Alexandria Gets Food Truck Cameo; Crepes Parfait

EVENTS— Alexandria is usually tough on food trucks, but they will be allowing some trucks to appear for Old Town for the First Night New Year's Eve bash. Popped Republic and Red Hook Lobster Pound will show up at noon on Union Street, and DC Slices and Doug the Food Dude will appear at the same time at Jefferson Houston School. [EaterWire]

POLITICS— After a bunch of food truck comments went missing on the DC proposed regulations, the government has decided to reopen the comment period until Dec. 28, beginning today. [WaPo]
