Harold Black, The Coffee Bar Both Opening This Week

1) Logan Circle: The Coffee Bar had its soft opening on Sunday, and is now open for business, Borderstan reports. Cait Lowry, a longtime barista, runs the place. 2) Capitol Hill: Girl Meets Food reports that tomorrow is the official opening for Harold Black, the hush-hush speakeasy from the Acqua Al 2 team. You need to make reservations to get a spot at the place, which is relatively unmarked. Menu items include puffed pork skins and a pickle plate. The name comes from co-owner Ari Gejdenson's grandfather. Status: Opening tomorrow. 214 7th St SE; no website.
