Mike Isabella is lending his restaurant to his friends.
Once a month, the Graffiato chef plans to host an "Industry Takeover Night." On the first Monday of the month, chef friends and mixologists will serve late night snacks at the pizza bar, as well as cocktail specials. The events will be open to the public, but industry members in particular are encouraged to attend. The nights will run from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The new program is one of a couple new experiments for the restaurant next year. Graffiato is starting a new "gem tasting menu", which will be built around a rare or special ingredient like a chicken oyster or a pig snout. Those dinners will be served for 12 guests, and the dinner will feature 12 different courses. The menu will be available on Sundays and Mondays for $85. The restaurant is also doing a seasonal wine dinner four times a year.
