PENN QUARTER— Elisir has a new mixologist. It's Mark Reyburn, formerly of Shaw's Tavern, Young and Hungry reports. He'll be changing the cocktails seasonally, and adding other touches to the bar, such as homemade limoncello. [WCP]
GLOVER PARK— Mayfair & Pine is hosting a wine dinner with Charlottesville-based Thibaut-Janisson Winery. The dinner will have eight courses of fall-inspired fare from Emily Sprissler, with pairings from the winery. The price tag is $85 per person. [EaterWire]
COLUMBIA HEIGHTS— There's an opening date for Mad Momos, the American restaurant and beer garden coming to 3605 14th Street NW. New Columbia Heights says the place is opening Dec. 11. [NCH]
