Unum-2-150.jpgTom Sietsema shares some initial thoughts about the recently opened Unum in Georgetown for his First Bite column this week. Sietsema writes that the new restaurant, which opened in the former Mendocino Grille space, "takes diners to Provence with bouillabaisse, to India with a sweetly spiced lamb shank and to the American South with a grilled hanger steak." He already found some misses, such as a juiceless smoked duck breast, but overall it sounds so far so good. [WaPo]
