Jaleo Will Close For Renovations on February 26

In more José Andrés news today, Jaleo has set a date for its long-awaited renovation: Sunday, February 26. In other words, you officially have from now through February 25 to enjoy the delights of Jaleo's downtown location as it is now before the revamp. Per a rep, they aim to reopen sometime during the week of March 26, assuming all goes as planned.

So while it's unfortunate to be forced to do without the Penn Quarter staple for about a month, Jaleo would like to entice you to come in for a visit before the renovations get underway by offering up prizes: Stop in to take a picture with their Flamenco dancer mural, post that to Facebook while tagging Jaleo and you shall receive a free pitcher of sangria when Jaleo reopens. Even better, you'll also have a shot at winning a private brunch for 50 people at the newly renovated spot. Not too shabby.
