Urbana's John Critchley Is DC's Hottest Chef

The polls are closed, the ballots have been counted and Washington, DC, has its hottest chef of 2012: John Critchley of Urbana. In an insane battle against Eatwell DC's Billy McCormick, this fine specimen nabbed 4,251 out of a whopping 8,271 total votes cast. Congrats! He'll go on to face chefs from across the country for the title of Hottest Chef in the Country beginning next week. And then it's up to all of us to make sure Critchley takes this one for DC — because you don't want to let New York win, right?
