Police chief Cathy Lanier forced U Street's Tabaq Bistro to shutter this weekend after a stabbing took place there early Saturday morning. Borderstan reports that a woman "was stabbed several times in the leg" at the lounge — and that an ongoing investigation has determined that the restaurant's staff failed to call ABRA or the police department regarding the incident.
