The team behind PORC Mobile announced last fall that they were looking into opening up a brick-and-mortar location and now it's official: PORC will open a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the former Acuario space of Columbia Heights. Per a release, the restaurant's menu will include some of the food truck's popular options — sausages, pulled pork, etc — plus "other unique selections" that they're not revealing just yet.
So what's the timeline on this? Well, joking about how tough it is to determine these things, the release merely reads: "sometime between early spring and fall 2016." So there's that. But in all seriousness, a rep tells Eater that the hope — if all goes well — is late spring, early summer. Meanwhile, yes, of course, PORC Mobile will still be out on the roads bringing food to people stuck in their offices everywhere.
