Mintwood Place has only been open in Adams Morgan for, oh, about a week, but already it's clear that Tom Sietsema adores the place. The Post critic writes in his First Bite this week that the restaurant is serving "some of the most exciting food of the admittedly new year," lauding former Central chef Cedric Maupillier for a menu that includes frog legs, a hearty cassoulet and hush puppies with escargot.
