And in more Penn Quarter expansion news, the Washington Post reports that Red Apron Butchery also has plans to move into a space on at 709 D Street. Beyond the usual products that Red Apron sells at farmers markets and online, the brick-and-mortar shop "will also sell fresh cuts of beef, pork and lamb, each fabricated from whole animals at the NRG commissary." They're aiming to open this location in the fall; meanwhile, there's another lease signed in Merrifield at the Mosaic District project. [WaPo]
