Line-Watching at Pepe; Boundary Road Launches Lunch

Photo: @chefjoseandres

PEPE WIRE—In case you were wondering whether the lines for José Andrés' food truck Pepe have died down yet, they haven't. The chef himself tweeted this ridiculous line photo today to thank the people of DC. And damn is that a line. [Twitter]

MENU WATCH—Now that dinner is practically impossible to get into after last week's presidential visit, the folks over at Boundary Road have started up lunch service. As of today, they're offering lunch from Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes things such as a Wagyu cheesesteak, chilled poached shrimp and duck confit. [Facebook]

DOWNTOWN—In more menu news, Equinox has launched a power hour lunch menu for their "beltway insider" diners. This involves your choice of either a three-course menu for $25 or a two-course menu for $19 and this week's menu is posted up on the restaurant's blog. [EaterWire[
