Watch Bryan Voltaggio Make His Manliest Sandwich

Volt chef/owner Bryan Voltaggio has teamed up once again with the folks at the Georgetown menswear boutique Lost Boys — for whom he has modeled once before — for their new Eat Like a Man video series in which manly men about town talk about manly things. In the video below, Voltaggio shows Lost Boys owner Kelly Muccio how to make the manliest sandwich, which is apparently a muffaletta. What makes it manly? Well, one must chop up the olive spread oneself rather than using a processor, though using a sandwich press is OK. Also, men add butter to the bread and eat muffalettas every night.

Voltaggio's new sandwich spot Lunchbox will be offering this manly muffaletta off-menu today through April 14 in support of the Lost Boys series. The boutique is also hosting a viewing party tonight from 5-7 p.m. at which they will be serving the sandwich.
