EASTERN MARKET—In a last push to publicize the LivingSocial pop-up of his forthcoming collaboration restaurant Suna — tickets are still available, by the way — Toki Underground's Erik Bruner-Yang reveals a little more about the restaurant he's opening with Ari Gejdenson of Acqua al 2 and chef Johnny Spero: It will be located in Eastern Market. Perhaps eventually we will learn the exact address. This is a fun game. [EaterWire]
DUPONT CIRCLE—If you've got $155 to blow on dinner this weekend, The Coterie is hosting a Mark Twain-themed dinner. Several big-name chefs will be recreating dishes from a "fantasy menu" Twain once wrote of his favorite foods — chefs including Kyle Bailey and Tiffany MacIsaac (Birch & Barley), Frederik de Pue (Table), and Ed Witt (701). They're also bringing in Dan Searing of Room 11 and Katie Nelson of the Columbia Room for all booze needs. The dinner is at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the Whittemore House and costs $155 for non-members (or $130 for members). [EaterWire]
GEORGETOWN—Prince of Petworth gets word from Sprinkles that they're offering free cupcakes today and tomorrow between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. in celebration of an extension of their hours of operation. One free cupcake per person. [PoP]
