Food Trucks

ramw-logo-200.jpgRestaurant Association Metropolitan Washington President Lynne Breaux makes the latest move in the debate about regulating food trucks with an op-ed in the Washington Post. Breaux argues that the association is not opposed to food trucks, but is more concerned about the "orderly management of public spaces" — writing that the "proposed vending regulations do not require any balance nor analysis of the impact of trucks at a location." She also points to the Pi Truck's propane leak last week as an example of "the potential consequences of getting this point wrong." [WaPo]
