Where to Eat During This Year's Cherry Blossom Festival

Photo via Facebook/National Cherry Blossom Festival

2008_10_hasmaps.jpgThe National Cherry Blossom Festival officially launches on Saturday and will run longer than usual this year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Japan's gift of the cherry blossom trees to the United States. Over the next five weeks, restaurants and bars all over the DC area are joining in on the festivities with cherry-inspired menus and cocktails, and the best of the offerings are highlighted ahead. Those who can't find the time to head over to the Tidal Basin to check out the 3,000 trees in all their pink glory will at least be able to raise a glass - and fork - in their honor.
