What is going on with all these food trucks going brick-and-mortar and restaurants launching food trucks? The Post learns today that the owner of El Floridano has signed a lease on a space in Petworth for a new restaurant named Mothership. Beyond serving as a commercial kitchen for the truck, the new space will be a retail and wholesale bakery and a restaurant serving "small plates, long braises, gourmet pizzas, Jamaican patties and other dishes." The aim is for a mid-May opening. [WaPo]
