Here's another entry into the annals of alleyway dining: Prince of Petworth reports that Back Alley Waffles has opened in Mount Vernon Square. They've got Belgian waffles, smoothies, coffee, chai and even free Wi-Fi and are open from 7 am until 1 pm. Back Alley Waffles is located in Blagden Alley — right near alley restaurant Rogue 24 and not too far from alley sandwich shop Sundevich. [PoP]
