DOWNTOWN—Beginning April 16, Alain Ducasse's DC restaurant Adour will begin offering a lunch menu from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. — with plans to extend its dinner service from five to seven days a week beginning on May 1. The new lunch menu is seasonal and includes dishes from Ducasse's new book Nature. There will also be a dinner tasting menu inspired by the book. [EaterWire]
EVENTWIRE—Think Local First is hosting a daylong workshop tomorrow in which local restaurateurs and other industry types will be offering advice on how to open a restaurant here in DC — with the folks from ABRA and DCRA on hand, too, to answer your red tape questions. The workshop gets started at 8:30 a.m. at the K Street Busboys and Poets location and costs $75. [EaterWire]
BEERWIRE—DCist brings some good news for beer drinkers, namely that 15 local bars are offering discounts throughout April in honor of DC Beer Week. First, though, you must purchase a $10 button that you can bring to the participating bars and restaurants, which include Bier Baron, The Big Hunt, ChurchKey, Matchbox, Meridian Pint and Smoke & Barrel.
