Chris Cooley's Pottery; Largest Houses For Sale In DC

POTOMAC—There's a huge house in Potomac that can't find a buyer so has come down in price again. Now asking $6.5M these 18,000 square feet are as ornate as you'll get around here.

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—We found some rentals under $1,500 in this neighborhood that aren't crack dens. But, hurry, rentals in this price range move fast.

DC—Since we looked at the smallest houses in DC a few weeks ago, we thought we'd look at the largest houses too. Click over for dwellings as big as 13,000 square feet.

DC—This month's issue of House Beautiful has a DC makeover of a local house that used to belong to political columnist Joseph Alsop. The full spread will be out in the print edition next week, but we have some early shots of the pages.

SPRING VALLEY—The DC Design House has finished with the decorating and is open to the public until mid-May. We have some before shots of the house that was built in 1956 but now has about half a dozen rooms that have been completely updated.
