Watch the Capital City Diner Roll Slowly Through DC

Here's a video of the Capital City Diner in the wee hours of this very morning as it was moved from its home on Bladensburg Road NE to... somewhere. Owner Matt Ashburn — whom you'll recall has been fending off rumors about the shuttered diner — was live-tweeting the whole thing as the diner was loaded on the truck and headed excruciatingly slowly through DC. Sure, they traveled down H Street NE, but the final destination remains a mystery — one that the diner's official Twitter feed indicates should be revealed later today: "No scuttlebutt-style gossip needed. Official word will come tomorrow. Anything til then is just rumor." We'll keep you posted.
