Week In Reviews

dolce-veloce-150.jpgTom Sietsema files a First Bite column this week on Dolce Veloce Cicchetti Wine Bar, an Italian small plates restaurant out in Fairfax City. The dishes, he writes, "have Italian roots and American builds" — by American build, he means that they are "husky." Furthermore, Sietsema writes that "[t]he most photogenic of the snacks may be the wine bar's pizza cones, which come in four flavors (make mine mushroom-spinach) and look like an edible bouquet swaddled in faux newspaper."
