Bandolero at Tackle Box Launches A La Carte Bar Menu

Earlier this month, Mike Isabella announced that since his forthcoming Mexican restaurant Bandolero isn't quite ready to open in Georgetown yet, he was going to be offering a preview over in Cleveland Park with a takeover of the Tackle Box space. Well, that takeover is already well underway, but now with some tweaks.

Whereas previously Bandolero was only offering a $65 five-course menu — both for those with reservations and walk-ins at the bar — starting tonight an a la carte menu will be available at the bar only. So, hooray, you might be able to get away spending less than $65, unless you drink a lot of margaritas. The menu is not wildly different from that from the LivingSocial pop-up menu, but there are a few differences, such as octopus and suckling pig tacos. Anyway, here is the a la carte menu of taquitos, tacos, enchiladas, albondigas and more. If you go, do let us know how it was.
