Pleasant Pops Reaches Kickstarter Goal; Pizzarro Opens

ADAMS MORGAN—DCist brings the good news about Pleasant Pops and their upcoming brick-and-mortar shop: A mere eight days after launching a Kickstarter campaign to raise restaurant-opening funds, Pleasant Pops has already reached their goal of $20,000 with the help of 309 backers. SHAW—Prince of Petworth stops by Pizzarro on Florida Avenue and discovers that it has soft-opened with "pizza, calzones, paninis, pastas and salads." They also deliver within the neighborhood and eventually "they’ll also offer crepes, coffee and free wifi." [PoP]
