Today saw some action related to DC's growing army of food trucks with the passage of a bill that should appease some of the brick-and-mortars out there. According to DCist, the DC Council passed "legislation that will require food trucks to pay the same 10 percent sales taxes assessed on normal restaurants." The legislation won't apply to trucks collecting less than $375 in quarterly sales tax, but apparently this should result in $1.2 million in tax revenue. [DCist]
