Taylor Gourmet owner Casey Patten recalls a visit to Adams Morgan with his current business partner David Mazza: "I was wearing one of David's shirts and he was all worried about the shirt getting stained with the grease from the jumbo slice. I said, 'Don't worry about it.' We were probably 19 or 20 years old. I went home completely covered in pepperoni grease. He made me buy him a shirt the next day, still angry.
