TackleBox-Cleveland-Park-150.jpgTucked into a WaPo piece about the Day of the Dead-themed design of Mike Isabella's forthcoming Bandolero restaurant is an explanation of sorts as to why owner Jonathan Umbel closed his Cleveland Park Tackle Box location: lawsuits. The Post reports that the landlord of the Tackle Box space is suing Umbel "for more than $12,000 a month in payments." But Umbel says the case is already settled and explains: "They didn’t pay me, so I didn’t pay the rent." [WaPo]
