A Look at Rustico's Greek-Inspired Pizza Week Special

As part of Eater's first ever Pizza Week, chefs at six major Washington, DC restaurants agreed to make a special limited edition pie, served just this week. Every day we'll highlight a new one. On deck today: Greek pizza from Rustico.

All week long, both the Alexandria and Ballston locations of Neighborhood Restaurant Group pizzeria Rustico have been offering this thing of beauty, our final Pizza Week special. It's a Greek pizza, made with Baba ghanoush, cherry peppers, kalamata olives, and topped with feta and a Greek salad. Notice anything different about the crust in the gallery of food porn above? Rustico is introducing a new recipe this week and these are the results.

Want a taste? The pie is available for $14 at both locations. And don't forget that the rest of the limited edition pizzas we've been highlighting in this space all week are still available at Bibiana, Pizzeria Orso, Urbana, Graffiato and La Forchetta.
