Tales of the Cocktail announced the finalists for the 2012 Spirit Awards yesterday, and DC has some folks up for the nod. To no one's surprise, Derek Brown was nominated for American Bartender of the Year, while his bar the Columbia Room is a finalist for Best American Cocktail Bar.
