While the lot that will soon be home to the freewheeling sandbox known as the New York Avenue Beach Bar has previously been marked by a nondescript banner, we've now got some official signage in place, folks. Of course, it is in the shape of a flip-flop, the official shoe of people who hang out on the beach. Also, what could possibly be a skull with cracks in it decorates the orange and yellow flip flop. Fantastic.
What's next? Well, word via the official New York Avenue Beach Bar Twitter is that the sand delivery has been scheduled. So watch out, Washington, DC. This shit is about to get real.
