Not that you could possibly forget, but just in case: Bandolero opens today in Georgetown and, in fact, it is open right this very second. Yes, Mike Isabella's Mexican small plates restaurant has finally arrived on the scene, a mere 11 months — almost to the day — after Graffiato graced Chinatown with its presence.
And what to expect of Bandolero? Well, there's that dark Day of the Dead theme, complete with cemetery gates and animal skulls on the walls. Also, mahi mahi tacos, sikil pak, guacamole, taquitos, empanadas and more. Oh yeah, and margaritas on tap. The restaurant officially opened at 4 p.m., so go get it.
