Word came earlier this month that Sauca was closing its year-old brick-and-mortar restaurant out in Arlington and shortly thereafter the fleet of food trucks announced they were taking a summer break. Well, now owner Farhad Assari writes in with the official word that the break is actually a little more permanent. Assari explains:
"Yes, I have decided to close the restaurant and the food trucks. It was a lifestyle decision. While I was passionate about sauca, working 14 hours a day seven days a week is not want I want from my life. I want to be able to enjoy my family, friends and loved ones, every day."
So there you have it. After two years, the food truck empire that has variously included numerous trucks and the Arlington brick-and-mortar is sadly no longer.
