New Columbia Heights reports that The Pinch opens this evening in the former El Salvadoreno space on 14th Street. As of 5 p.m., they'll be offering "specialty cocktails, contemporary twists on classic American fare and live music" with American craft brews on tap and a menu focused on burgers and sandwiches. There are also pretzel-crusted fried pickles. Eventually they plan to open for brunch. [NCH]
