Introducing Eater's First Ever Pizza Week

New, 5 comments

Ladies and gentlemen, Eater readers of all ages, please inch a little closer to the computer screen for a special announcement. Starting right now and ending, oh, around 5 p.m. Friday, Eater will be your headquarters for all things pizza for this, our first ever Eater Pizza Week. We're going to sit down with some of the city's best pizzamakers, talk to restaurateurs about the best slices in the city, and feature all manner of maps and guides and more.

And it doesn't end with the content. For Pizza Week, Eater has teamed up with four pizzerias to give away 5 pies each at random, in special custom Eater pizza boxes (at right), to their delivery customers. So those who order from Pete's Apizza in Columbia Heights, Clarendon and Friendship Heights, and We the Pizza on Capitol Hill may have a nice surprise coming their way.

Beyond that, another group of restaurants have created special Eater pizzas, available this week only. We'll be featuring one or two of these specials a day, but here's the list of where you should be dining this week: Bibiana, Urbana, La Forchetta, Pizzeria Orso, Graffiato, and both Rustico locations.

Please do come back here regularly throughout the week to check it out and order some pies to join in the fun. Eater Pizza Week — Taste the Difference.
