In a tough blow to bacon lovers everywhere, Restaurant 3 — known for its Bacon Week and pig roasts — is closing its doors for good in Clarendon tonight. Owner Jonathan Williams doesn't offer much in the way of explanation to ARLnow, but the increasingly competitive environment in Clarendon doesn't seem to have helped. Williams also confirms another restaurant has already signed on for the space — much like over at Market Tavern — and says "he hopes to do something bacon-related again." [ARLnow]
