Frozen Tropics has an email from Fruit Bat announcing the impending shutter of the H Street NE bar and plans to transform it into some new mysterious concept. Per the email, the farewell to Fruit Bat comes on Tuesday in the form of drink specials before it closes up shop on June 9. After that, it'll reopen as a new concept on July 1, but they're keeping mum on what that concept might be for now. [FT]
