STAR WATCH—So comedian Pauly Shore happens to be in DC right now filming an upcoming Showtime special and cropping up at all kinds of food places. Fishbowl caught him leaving Starbucks and now Redditors have posted the above photograph of Shore with former Republican National Committee chair Michael Steele at Ben's Chili Bowl. That's weird, but OK. [FBDC, Reddit]

POLITICO WATCH—Meanwhile, a publicist sends word that a large group of senators took over the dining room at Bibiana for about three-and-a-half hours last night. For those playing Congressional Bingo at home, these senators include: Tom Carper, Saxby Chambliss, Susan Collins, Bob Barker, Dick Durbin, Lindsey Graham, Kay Hagan, Rob Portman, Jeanne Shaheen, Mark Udall and Mark Warner. Would some political people please analyze this? [EaterWire]

FOOD TV—Don't forget to set those DVRs for tonight's episode of Restaurant Impossible in which First Lady Michelle Obama asked host Robert Irvine to help out at DC nonprofit Horton's Kids. The Post has a preview clip. [WaPo]

COLUMBIA HEIGHTS—Heads up, fans of Columbia Heights noodle shop Pho Viet: Prince of Petworth catches some signage indicating that the restaurant will be closed from June 19 to July 10. [PoP]
