garden-state-rendering-150.jpgEastShawDC reported yesterday afternoon that developer Aaron Hirsch is hoping to open an open-air restaurant named Garden State on New Jersey Avenue. And man will it have a lot to offer: "picnic tables, a gazebo, bike racks, and recreational amenities (such as bocce or cornhole)." But be warned: Hirsch first has to get the go-ahead from the zoning board and obtain a liquor license. If those hoops work out, he hopes to open in March 2013. [EastShawDC]
