Expensive Mexican Food; The Best Food Trucks in DC?

EXPENSIVE THINGS—The City Paper puts together a neat infographic of what they call "Hip-Mex" restaurants in DC, as arranged by how damn expensive they are in three important categories: Corona, margaritas and guacamole. The most expensive of each? Bandolero sells Corona for $6, while El Chucho has a $25 margarita and the guacamole at Oyamel costs $13.50. The more you know. [WCP]

FOOD TRUCKS—The Plate names its 10 best food trucks from the politically themed popcorn truck Popped! Republic to the Sinplicity Ice Cream truck. Obviously, the likes of Pepe and Red Hook Lobster Pound also make the cut. [The Plate]

NATIONALS PARK—DCist reports that Nationals Park has made PETA's list of the 10 most vegetarian-friendly ballparks in the country, coming in at spot number 8 for its "chili made with mock meat, veggie burgers, tofu sandwiches with Vegenaise, and falafel." The advocacy group also makes fun of poor Teddy for never winning the Presidents Race. [DCist]
