1) Atlas District: Frozen Tropics reports that the '80s arcade-themed bar that was very briefly known as Barcade has settled on the name Atlas Arcade and will open in the old Fruit Bat space this evening. The Washington Post provides some further detail on what bargoers can expect, including arcade games such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Donkey Kong, and Big Buck Hunter Pro, plus "the bar counter itself is outfitted with classic Sega and Atari home game consoles and flatscreen TVs at each end." There's also foosball, darts, cheap beer — and, to eat, Pop-Tarts and kids' cereal. Status: Opens at 6 p.m. 1236 H Street NE; Twitter page
2) Dupont Circle: A little bit later than promised, Jamba Juice opened its doors in the Dupont Circle area on Saturday, bringing the California-based company's signature smoothies, juices, sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads and more to DC proper — all in partnership with tennis star Venus Williams, who is in town helping out with the opening of the store. Status: Certified open. 1333 19th Street NW; website
3) Atlas District: Back in the Atlas District, Thrillist notes that Sahra Lounge has opened as the newest hookah bar in the area. Right now they've just got wine and beer available, but the plan is to add "a lineup of Middle Eastern tapas." Status: Certified open. 1200 H Street NE
