Week In Reviews

bistro-vivant-logo-150.jpgTom Sietsema visits McLean's Bistro Vivant for this week's First Bite column, where he mostly likes the wall-sized chalkboard of specials, but also some other things: "Escargots, blanquette de veau, creme brulee: All the usual suspects appear on the standing menu. As is so often the case, appetizers are the most fun. I’m thinking now of the plum tomato and Cantal cheese tart set off with spiky frisee, and a salad of glistening Italian anchovies draped over lightly sauteed Padron peppers." [WaPo]
