Designer Maggie O'Neill — who has used taxidermied animals and mythical animals at Irish Whiskey and Hank's Oyster Bar, respectively — explains: "It’s kind of like couture taxidermy, if you will, and I think that a lot of people picked up on that. ...There’s a romance going on with the whole Aspen, naturalist aesthetic."
