A&D Is Seasonal Pantry's Next Step in Shaw Domination

Behold the entrance to A & D, a new neighborhood bar headed to Shaw from the folks behind Seasonal Pantry and Sundevich. That's right, while we learned back in May that Seasonal Pantry's owners had taken over the space next door — and in front of their alleyway sandwich shop Sundevich — with plans to open a new concept, no details were revealed at the time what kind of concept it might be. And now a liquor license application recently went up on these windows announcing a tavern with "mostly cold prepared foods and other bar snacks."

Co-owner Ali Bagheri continues to play it close to the vest, offering Eater a few small details via email: "A & D as it will be called, will be a friendly and comfortable neighborhood bar, serving rustic bar food. Some cool original crafted cocktails will compliment the food menu." As always, more information as it's available.
