ALEXANDRIA—Among the victims of this weekend's storm is Port City Brewing Company, which DCist reports is at risk of losing 13,000 gallons of beer in their fermentation tanks. Apparently a generator has been acquired, so everything might work out in the end, but the brewery is closed for now. Meanwhile, Cheesetique had a depressing weekend throwing out 20 pieces of buffalo mozzarella, 30 pounds of pate, some Iberico ham and a whole lot more cheese ruined in the power outage.
